Representation of people/groups in our music video
In our music video, our actor in the music video will be dressed appropriately as our target audience is aged from 13 to about 28. Appropriate dress would be dark colours, mainly black and navy because they are connected to and symbolize seriousness, darkness, depression and sadness.
The types of people we are representing and that would listen to this song are troubled teens/young adults who are sad and depressed or stressed because this is the type of music you would listen to if your stressed or depressed because of the lyrics and the tune of the song, it's not necessarily the happiest song out there. We'll attempt to capture this with a subtle narrative of someone trying and struggling to deal with their emotions after a breakup, something that happens in everyday life and we've all felt or will feel at some point. Capturing both our perception of the lyrics, the character could 'use somebody' like their other half they've broken up with as the memories are now painful, but also the mood of the song, showing what many people go through.
Intertextuality
Regarding intertextuality we looked at many videos to decide on what shots to use for the recording of the performance clips as inspiration. We decided to take shots from the front, but as close ups from the chest/shoulders and up as we felt it was best to focus on the face and the emotion for the deliverance of the lyrics. It's also similar to our song in its genre and target audience so that helped.
Also we decided to use shots without any of us in them and just of scenery like in the actual use somebody video and in many others as we felt it created a nice calming effect without much effort, and since it happens so much we consider it one of the conventions of the videos of this genre and decided to use it for that reason.

Shooting Schedule
We plan to meet up to shoot the video outdoors and at our houses in our free time at a minimum of at least once a week and all filming should be done by the end of December so we can safely make any last minute tweaks before our deadline in January.
*Update, due to circumstances we were unable to meet as much as we had initially planned. We are now filming after school when we can and on the weekends. We filmed on Wednesday 7/1/15 after school. We filmed on Saturday 11/1/15 and on Sunday 12/01/15. Our next set time to film is on Wednesday 14/1/15 after school but we may be able to before then.

List of people involved
List of people involved in the music video and their roles:
- Drin Barbatovci - Mainly acting and lip syncing in the video, some directing, camera and sound work.
- Shemsi Jashari - Camera and sound work, directing.
- Faisal Ahmed - Camera and sound work, lighting, directing input.
- Neyaz Miah - Camera and sound work, lighting, directing input.
List of locations
The places we plan to film:
- Around Camden town
- Regents place
- Regents park
- Camden Canal
- Central London
We've chosen these locations because they provide good scenery. We chose these locations because they all have different scenarios for example Camden Canal has a river that flows through a small bridge and the canal lets boats past through, Regents park has tall trees surrounding the park also we the trees contrast with sun setting , Regents place has tall buildings and busy roads and also has a lot of people walking around, Camden Town has a lot people walking around the streets and shops also Central London is where all these locations are based around. We plan to visit these locations at about 3 o'clock and on wards because the sun sets earlier in winter and we can get some aesthetically pleasing shots of all the lights up in the dark but still have enough lighting to make clear recordings without having to add more than a torch or two from behind the camera in some places.
List of props
The props we are going top use are:
- A wine bottle
The wine bottle represents the loneliness of the character as he is now lonely so he has given himself up and now he is drinking alcohol. He drinks alcohol because he wants to forget about his issues and him being lonely.
List of equipment
Equipment we'll require:
- A camera
- Torches for lighting in darker locations
- Camera stand of some sort for steadier shots
- A microphone (should be built into camera however)
- A tripod
The camera we will be using to record our footage will be at a fairly good quality. This piece of equipment will produce high definition content so will ensure that our music video appears professional and is enjoyable to watch as it will be easier on the eye. The camera has a number of modes that can be used, meaning filming can take place in the several settings and variations of lighting that we plan to film in. A tripod will also be needed as to keep the camera still whilst filming. This will ensure that the shots appear professional as opposed to the poor, handmade quality of a handheld shot. the tripod will need to be adjustable so that a variation of shot types and angles can be applied.
Editing will be done on a macbook pro with retina display on an editing programme that has many useful features that are discussed under the subheading of "editing" for this task. The computer itself
has a high definition screen with retina display, meaning the image will be crystal clear - which means that the video can be edited accurately and be aesthetically pleasing to watch.
